Page Ruling Guide

Choosing the right page ruling comes down to how you write and what you write for. Here's a guide to the five options available across the Rhodia NZ range.

Lined

Horizontal lines typically spaced 7-8mm apart to guide handwriting. The most familiar ruling for everyday note-taking, journalling and general writing.

Dot Grid

Dots spaced 5mm apart provide subtle guidance while keeping the page visually clean. Ideal for bullet journalling, sketching and freeform note-taking.

Blank

A plain page with no ruling. Complete freedom for drawing, sketching or writing without constraint.

Grid

5 x 5mm squares formed by horizontal and vertical lines. The original Rhodia ruling, popular with designers, architects and anyone who thinks and writes in structure.

Cross 'n' Dot

An innovative ruling that alternates between small open crosses and discreet dots every 5mm. The subtle grid provides gentle guidance while remaining virtually imperceptible when scanned, photocopied or photographed, making it a natural choice for artists, illustrators and anyone working across both paper and screen.
